The Lone Tree baseball team ran all over Danville with a 11-1 five-inning win Thursday in Lone Tree.

Shay Hudachek (2-1) got the win on the mound, allowing three hits and striking out three. Jordan Quigley went 3-for-3 with a double and three RBIs. Bryce Forbes was 2-for-3 with a triple and three RBIs. Andy Dodson hit 2-for-3 with a triple and two RBIs. Colin Gibson and Levi Saterfield each hit 2-for-3, while Logan Forbes added a double.

Lone Tree is 9-7.


* PLEASANT VALLEY 15-5, CITY HIGH 9-1: The Little Hawks were swept by the Spartans in a doubleheader at Mercer Park.

City fell behind 10-0 in the first game and was unable to recover. Nate Goddard took the loss.

Josh Crosby, J.J. Gevock, Michael Haring, Sam Mrstik and Tyler Stika each had two hits for City. Grant Simpsons added three RBIs.

Michael Haring took the loss in game two, while Gevock had two hits.

City (11-11) will face Cedar Rapids Xavier in a doubleheader at 5 p.m. today in Cedar Rapids.
