DURHAM, New Hampshire (NEWS CENTER)– Maine will take on the University of New Hampshire for the second round of the FCS playoffs. The Wildcats beat Lafayette 45-7 to advance to Saturday’s game at Morse field.
Maine will be returning to the FCS playoffs for the first time since 2011. The CAA champion Black Bears went 7-0 in conference play, and 10-1 overall this season. Maine got a first round bye for its efforts, and will host the first ever playoff game at home in Orono this Saturday, December 7th. Kick off is at 2 PM.
