Bo Howard earned his share of credit in two baseball games Saturday.

The Marshfield senior doubled in the go-ahead run before he earned the save in a 3-2 victory against Holmen, and he followed that by picking up the win after an inning of relief in a 1-0 victory against Janesville Parker.

The games were part of a round-robin series played over two days at Marshfield. On Friday, Marshfield beat Appleton West 5-1.

Against Holmen, Howard doubled home Daulton Varsho, immediately after he walked to lead off the bottom of the sixth. Against Parker, Howard pitched a scoreless inning in relief before Aaron Schwecke ended the game with a single that sent home Jaca Krasselt with nobody out in the bottom of the seventh.
