Nixa (Mo.) blasted Branson (Mo.) 49-13 in a Class 5 District 5 semifinal game last night thanks to a number of big plays, including a 62-yard run by quarterback Dawson Mills on the Eagles’ first play from scrimmage. Later in the game, senior wideout Mason Tyndall made this incredible juggling catch.

Nixa travels to Springfield on Monday to take on Kickapoo in the District 5 chamopnship game. Nixa is averaging 37 points per game, while Kickapoo is averaging 39.
“It will come down to attention to detail, execution, hitting hard and making as few mistakes as we can,” Nixa running back Alec Murphy said. “It’s going to be a good game and I look forward to playing them.”
