OK high school hoopers I don’t want to hear any excuses today.
Yes, yesterday was Christmas and you got to see the aunts, uncles and cousins that you haven’t seen all year and yes, the Jordans you’re going to be sporting next week at school are fresh.
But now it’s time to get down to business.
That’s right today marks the start of lots of the country’s most prestigious high school basketball Christmas tournaments.
Don’t be that team/player that can’t shake off the rust after a day full of gifts, pigging out and family time.
Let’s step it up.
