Position: Shooting guard
Height: 6-foot-4
Weight: 195 pounds

Athletic achievement: He averaged 22.1 points, 6.6 rebounds, 1.8 assists and 1.7 steals this past season, leading the Falcons (20-4) to the Class AA state semifinals. A two-time Class AA First Team All-State selection, Muller shot 42 percent from the field, 39 percent from 3-point range and 78 percent from the free throw line. He averaged 23.0 points in four Class AA state tournament games, including a career-high 38 points in a 62-52, third-place consolation victory against Glacier (Kalispell, Mont.).

Academic excellence: Muller has maintained a 3.37 GPA and is a member of the National Honor Society.

Exemplary character: In addition to donating his time locally as a youth basketball instructor, he has volunteered as part of a youth literacy-outreach initiative, a carnival event for elementary school children and a food drive to benefit the needy.

“He is the best player in the state. He works hard, and he is coach-able,” said Wes Holmquist, head coach of rival Bozeman (Mont.). “He is not only great offensively, but he is a presence on the defensive end. He has the ability to completely take over the game in a variety of ways. He draws so much attention, and he is a smart player who is very unselfish and makes his teammates better.”

THE FUTURE: Muller remains undecided upon a collegiate destination.
