Senior forward Andrew Callahan scored with four minutes left in the third period to lift the Morristown-Beard ice hockey team to a 3-2 victory over Randolph in a Mennen Cup ice hockey game on Friday night.
Senior defenseman Robert Bolinder had put the Rams on the scoreboard 6:57 into the game. Spencer Shepperly, a Crimson junior, tied the score less than five minutes later.
Junior Mike Meisenbacher gave Morristown-Beard a short-lived lead, until Randolph senior Liam Finneran tied the score 1:04 later.
Morristown 4, Chatham 1: Senior forward Tommy Donofrio scored twice to lead the Colonials on Thursday. Junior forward Brian Begley had a goal and an assist. For the Cougars, Robert Graziano scored.
Mount Olive 4, Parsippany Regional 1: Senior defender Chris Sanchez had a goal and two assists for the Marauders on Thursday. Junior forwards Casey DeLorenzo and Ethan Hendrickson also scored. Junior defender Tommy Iverson scored for Parsippany Regional.
Mountain Lakes 38, Whippany Park 26: Senior Alexa Wilson and sophomore Alyssa Sebesto each scored six points as Mountain Lakes went on a 16-0 run beginning with 24 seconds to play in the third quarter. Lakers sophomore Caroline Wilson had a team-high 11 points and nine rebounds. Whippany Park senior Alana Dudley scored a game-high 19 points.
Kittatinny 35, Roxbury 24: Senior guard Nicole Callela led Kittatinny (15-6) with eight points. Brittany Casola of Roxbury (10-10) scored seven points.
Morris Catholic 63, Oratory 44: Junior forward Ryan Feeney led Morris Catholic with 13 points and 11 rebounds on Friday. Senior forward Kevin Cannavina added eight points, five rebounds and two steals for the Crusaders (7-13). Oratory’s Tim Roper scored 10 points.
Boonton 65, Morris Catholic 58: Sammy Asani scored 32 points to lift the Bombers (7-15) on Thursday. Messaq Farzad chipped in 14 points. For the Crusaders (6-13), junior guard Andre Spruell scored 17 points and sophomore guard Zach Williams contributed 16 points.
Mount Olive 48, Mendham 42: Junior guard Rashaan Spencer scored a game-high 19 points for the Marauders (18-4) on Thursday. Junior center Zach Heeman had 10 points and nine rebounds. Senior guard Bobby Stoltz and senior center Kal Roemer each had 13 points for the Minutemen (12-9). Junior guard Joe Lamberto had 10 points and senior forward Will Gibbs had 12 rebounds.
Montville 53, Hopatcong 39: Sophomore guard Jacob Kaplan scored a game-high 18 points to lead the Mustangs (10-11) on Thursday. Junior guard Jesse Warech scored 13 points and senior forward Danny Weiss had 10 points and nine rebounds. Junior forward Pat MacNamara scored 15 points for the Chiefs (9-13).
