Coach Larry Holmes’ comments: “(Hashimoto) is a coach’s dream to have. She is very talented, works hard. Nothing seems too big for her. She’s selfless and giving. It has truly been an honor to coach her. She helped elevate our program to be one of the elite programs in the state.”
Hashimoto’s comments: “It was an interesting year adjusting to a new coach, but it was a good experience. Playing in the final was hard with my teammate on the other side, because we’ve been best friends for a long time. I plan on attending a community college, but I’m condfident I’ll keep playing badminton. It’s not just a school sport to me, it’s something I like to do.”
