The 1st annual Nate Ekhoff kicking camp takes place in Parker on Saturday, July 13th.
Football players with an interest in special teams (kicking, punting, long snapping) can sign up all the way up to the camps start at 8 AM on Saturday.
It’s an 8 hour camp as well as a tailgate in the parking lot at Sports Authority Stadium from 11 AM until 3 PM.
The cost is $125 for the camp and proceeds raised from participants and from the tailgate will go towards a scholarship fun for special teams players that want to play collegiate football.
The whole event has been put together by Nate Ekhoff’s family. Nate was an all-state kicker for the Ponderosa Mustangs. He was diagnose with leukemia shortly after his senior season and died from complications just over a year later.
