New Lexington announced its Muskingum Valley League Scholar Athletes for the winter sports season. The award is given to athletes earning a varsity letter and a 3.5GPA or higher.
The wrestling program had four in seniors Ryan Lewis, T.C. Renick, Tyler Tolliver and sophomore Austin Syfert; boys basketball had two in senior Ethan Kunkler and sophomore Collin Russell; girls basketball had two in seniors Mariah Post and Sydney Wycinski; and bowling had three in senior Morgan Stickdorn and juniors Cheyenne Danison and Jacob Hankinson.
