At Ripon, the Cardinals won their first game of the season with a 4-1 victory over the Tigers in a non-conference showdown.
Mayville (1-1) jumped out to a 2-0 lead after getting goals in the seventh and 18th minutes. It added another in the 28th and took a 3-1 lead into halftime.
Dominic Nonhof scored two goals for the Cardinals, while Elliot Schellpfeffer added a goal and two assists. Dominic Cypher scored the other goal for Mayville.
