Position: Midfielder
Height: 6-foot-1
Weight: 185 pounds

Athletic achievement:He scored 16 goals and passed for 23 assists this past season, leading the Bruins (14-4-3) to third place in the state tournament. The state’s returning Gatorade Boys Soccer Player of the Year, Weiler is a two-time First Team All-State selection and was also named North Dakota’s Senior Athlete of the Year for soccer. 

Academic excellence: Weiler has maintained a 3.80 GPA.

Exemplary character: Also a talented musician, he has volunteered locally assisting the elderly and has donated his time to the US Youth Soccer TOPSoccer program, serving young athletes with disabilities.


“Weiler is a very creative player in the midfield,” said Jonathan Melendez, head coach at rival Fargo (N.D.) North. “He’s talented and very smart, and everything runs through him.”

THE FUTURE: Weiler will attend Nebraska-Omaha.
