THE WINNER: Bianca Quisenberry


School: Tecumseh (New Carlisle, Ohio)
Grade: Senior
Position: Point guard
Height: 5-foot-8

Athletic achievement: Quisenberry averaged 29.2 points, 10.9 rebounds, 8.8 steals and 5.9 assists per game this past season, leading the Arrows (23-2) to the Division I sectional final. A 2012 First Team All-State selection, Quisenberry became the first player in school history to surpass 2,000 points and her career total of 2,349 ranks 12th in state history.

Academic excellence: Quisenberry has maintained a 3.27 GPA.

Exemplary character: A devoted parishioner in her church community, she has volunteered locally on behalf of the Special Olympics, the Fellowship of Christian Athletes and Students Against Destructive Decisions.


“Bianca Quisenberry is the best player I have ever coached against,” said Brian Hogan, head coach at Bellefontaine (Ohio). “Not only can she score at will, she also works as hard as anyone on defense. I respect her as a student-athlete more than any player I have ever coached against.”

THE FUTURE: Quisenberry will attend Cincinnati.
