Oshkosh 3, Appleton 2: Tyler Hoodie scored the only goal in the shootout for both teams as the Ice Hawks picked up its first conference victory.

Ben Jaeger scored and had an assist and Joey Furman scored the game-tying goal for Oshkosh (2-5, 1-1) 7 minutes, 59 seconds into the third period. The Ice Hawks never led until Tyler Hoodie’s shootout goal.

Zach Holliday recorded 25 saves, including all three shots during the shootout.
