Callie Troutfetter drilled a 1-0 pitch from Abby Menting over the right-center field wall in the bottom of the 10th inning to lift Oshkosh West to an 8-6 win in a WIAA Division 1 sectional final at Oshkosh North on Thursday.

Troutfetter, who also pitched all 10 innings in the win, followed Meg Krautsch’s single to lead off the 10th with her line drive that easily cleared the outfield fence. By the time she hit second base, the entire Wildcat team was out of the dugout celebrating the win, which earned the Wildcats their first state trip since 2001.
Troutfetter also had a two-run double in the first inning and drove in another run when she reached on an error in the third and West built a 6-2 lead over the Papermakers.
Kimberly came back with a four-run fifth inning and the game stayed tied until the bottom of the 10th.
