Elliot Kowalski was second in the boys Division III race at 16 minutes, 44 seconds Saturday as Put-In-Bay boys cross country team finished the Division III portion of Lakota’s Myron Cline Invitational in 17th place.

Tyler Sievert was fourth (16:13.23), Jake Wistinghausen 13th and Bryan Budere 20th as Oak Harbor finished the Division I-II race in fourth-place.

Nick Reineck was 15th, Logan Pratt 17th and Collin Rider 24th for Port Clinton’s boys.

Kyle Farrel was 28th as Genoa finished seventh.

Carly Gose was seventh at 20:11.53 for Genoa’s girls.

Trinity Gephart was eighth in a career-best 20:12.67 and Taylor Dunn 25th as Oak Harbor finished fifth.

Claire Zielinski was 10th and Kennedy Gulas 15th as Port Clinton finished fourth.

Ryan Avers (17:02.62) was fourth, Jordan Buck 10th, Joey McTague 14th and Grant Matwiejczyk 29th as Woodmore’s boys finished the Division III race as runner-up.

Courtney Burner was ninth (20:55.25) and Samantha Sedlemeier 26th for Woodmore’s girls.

Sophia Schroeder was 61st for Put-In-Bay’s girls.
