Pasco blanks Wesley Chapel 35-0

By

Dade City, Fl – A few hours before the start of the Wesley Chapel at Pasco high school football game, heavy rain and lightning put on an amazing show.

Once the game began, Malik Johns stole the show, scoring four touchdowns to lead the Pasco Pirates (2-1) to a 35-0 victory over Wesley Chapel Wildcats (0-3).

Johns on-the-field lightning started early, when he took the opening kickoff 90-yards, untouched for the score. Johns then tossed a floater to Nate Craig for the successful two-point conversion, giving the Pirates a 8-0 lead.

The rain also contributed to a slippy football, resulting in several fumbles, keeping the score 8-0 at the half.

But in the third quarter, Johns struck again… and again… and again, scoring three more touchdowns, as the Pasco Pirates rolled over Wesley Chapel 35-0.

Up next for the Pirates a bye week, while the Wildcats of Wesley Chapel will host Hudson.
