Pelican bounced Ebarb from the LHSAA Class C state playoffs on Monday night, winning 66-40.

Sara Housley scored 17 points and added 15 rebounds for coach Cleve Craig, while Michee’ Alexander tossed in 27 points for No. 1-seeded Pelican (28-4).

“We pressed them and were able to get up on them early,” Craig said. “They couldn’t handle our pressure. We didn’t shoot a 3-pointer all night.”
Pelican is headed to the CenturyLink Center in Bossier City to play Saline this weekend.
