School: The Haverford School (Haverford, Pa.)

Grade: Senior

Position: Forward

Height: 6-foot-1

Athletic achievement: The returning Gatorade Player of the Year, Campbell led the Fords to an 18-2-1 record and a second straight Pennsylvania Independent Schools state championship this past season. He scored 30 goals and passed for nine assists, including four goals and four assists in four postseason games. The MVP of the Inter-Ac League and a two-time Southeastern Pennsylvania Coaches Association All-Star, Campbell concluded his prep career with 93 goals and 27 assists.

Academic excellence: Campbell has maintained an A-minus average.

Exemplary characterAn avid drummer and pianist, he has volunteered locally at a nursing home and at Lankenau Hospital, where he received the Superior Service Award in July, 2011.


“Brett Campbell is an exceptional player,” said Chris Fehrle, head coach of Germantown Academy (Fort Washington, Pa.). “He has an amazing knack for scoring and he is always dangerous. He is extremely fast and very difficult to defend.”

THE FUTURECampbell will attend Georgetown.
