The Toms River North girls soccer team reached the NJSIAA South Jersey Group IV semifinals after defeating Washington Township 3-0 on Thursday in a quarterfinal. Erica Pita scored two goals for the fourth-seeded Mariners (15-5).
Carly Wilhelm had the first goal of the game in the second minute of the first half. Wilhelm also assisted both goals from Pita, one in the first half, and the final goale.
Pita scored her first goal of the game off a volley from 20 yards, giving the Mariners a 2-0 lead. The fouth-seeded Mariners will play at top-seeded Lenape on Monday.
TR SOUTH 5, MAINLAND 0: Taylor Troutman scored the first two goals of the game leading the second-seeded Indians (18-2) over the seventh-seeded Mustangs in a South Jersey Group III game. Katie Hammack scored the final two goals for the Indians. The Indians will host third-seeded Moorestown on Monday.
ST. ROSE 6, RUTGERS PREP 1: Lauren Gates scored two goals leading the top-seeded Purple Roses over ninth-seeded Argonauts in a Non-Public South B quarterfinal. Jillian Barry scored in the 79th minute.
CENTRAL 5, HIGHLAND 1: Amanda Carolan scored three goals leading the fifth-seeded Golden Eagles (18-2) over the fourth-seeded Tartans (15-4) in a South Jersey Group III quarterfinal.
The Golden Eagles will host No. 16. Burlington Township on Monday.
RUMSON-FAIR HAVEN 4, CINNAMINSON 1: Grace Forsyth had two goals leading the seventh-seeded Bulldogs over No. 15 Pirates in a Central Group II game. Forsyth scored both of her goals in the second half for the Bulldogs who will play the winner of Rahway or Bordentown on Monday.

OCEAN 1, HOPEWELL VALLEY 1: The seventh-seeded Spartans (15-4-1) beat the third-seeded Bulldogs 3-0 on penalty strokes in a North II Group III semifinal. Kelly Conway keyed the win, scoring at 40:44 to tie the game and converting a penalty stroke.
