At Hortonville, Ryley Rosenfeldt faced only 21 batters, pitching a perfect game to lead the Polar Bears to the win over the Panthers.
Rosenfeldt finished with 13 strikeouts and, according to Hortonville coach Don Williams, went to three-ball counts against only one or two batters.
“He had a good curveball but was able to locate his fastball and move it around,” Williams said. “He was getting ahead of the hitters. He went mainly with the fastball in the last inning. He just came after them.”
Hortonville (14-2, 12-1) got the only runs it need in the first inning when Rosenfeldt hit a two-out, two-run double.

At New London, Ryan Wolf drove in the winning run with a single in the bottom of the eighth, scoring Joe Schuster, who led off with a single and moved to second on a bunt single by Casey Hofherr.
Hofherr finished three-for-three with a double, while Trevor Bryan was two-for-four with two RBI.

At Appleton, Tony Link allowed two hits over six innings and the Patriots hit six doubles in the win over the Bluejays.
Appleton East gave itself some breathing room with a three-run fourth inning that was keyed by Taran Tierney’s two-run single.
