Prep baseball: Kiel's Meyer 1st-team EWC


The Eastern Wisconsin Conference announced its all-conference baseball team Friday, with seven area players receiving recognition.

Kiel’s Jordan Meyer headlined the local group, being named a first-team infielder, while teammates Terren Driscoll and Eric Weber were tabbed as honorable mention infielders.

Tanner Woepse rounded out the Kiel representatives by being awarded honorable mention in the outfield.

Two Rivers landed a trio of players on the all-conference team. Cory Johnson and Cameron Greene were each named second-team outfielders while Brett Kasper received second-team honors as a utility player.
