Travis DuPont hit a home run in Game 1 and Devon Seiler hit a home run in Game 2 as the Manitowoc Lincoln baseball team swept a home doubleheader against De Pere on Saturday by scores of 6-4 and 9-1, respectively.
In Game 1, Byron Anderson pitched six innings to earn the win as he had two strikeouts and two walks. Nick Spurney earned the save by closing out the seventh inning.
The Ships had five hits in the game as DuPont was the only player with multiple hits at 2-for-3.
Brock Meyer earned the complete-game win in Game 2 as he had one walk and one strikeout.
Offensively, Lincoln was led by Ben Kohls who was 2-for-3 and Brady Ferry who was 2-for-4 with a double. Also in the game, Seiler and Anderson were 2-for-4 while Spurney netted a triple.
Lincoln next plays on Monday at Green Bay Southwest.
