David Menk went 1-for-2 with two RBI and one run to lead the Manitowoc Lutheran baseball team past visiting Wrightstown 8-5 on Tuesday.

Also hitting a pair of RBI for the Lancers was Ryan LeClair (1-for-3), who made the most of his one hit by smacking a two-RBI double.

Lutheran built an early 5-0 lead in the top of the second inning and led 8-0 heading into the bottom of the seventh before the Tigers rallied for five runs in the inning.

Kyle Staudt started the game on the mound for the Lancers, earning the win by throwing five scoreless innings and allowing four hits while striking out two and walking one.

Lutheran returns to action on Thursday when it hosts Chilton.

St. Mary Central 13, Roncalli 3 (six innings)

Roncalli allowed nine runs in the first inning for the road loss.

Jared Patek allowed 10 earned runs on 10 hits and two walks with six strikeouts while pitching 52/3 innings.

Offensively the Jets were led by Brett Bahrs who was 2-for-2 with one run and Samuel Brahm who was 1-for-1 with two RBI.

Little Chute 13, Valders 4

The host Vikings scored all four runs in the first two innings, scoring two runs each, but trailed 7-4 after three innings and never were able to come back in the loss.

John Shimon started for Valders and took the loss, allowing five runs — three earned — in three innings on nine hits while the Vikings offense were held to three hits of their own.

Luke Schuh led Valders offensively, going 2-for-4 with a double and an RBI while teammate Thomas Schwoerer (1-for-2) added the other hit, a two-RBI double in the second inning.

Valders travels to take on Wrightstown on Thursday.
