Kiel scored six times in the bottom of the seventh inning, shocking Campbellsport for an 11-10 Eastern Wisconsin Conference baseball victory on Friday.
The Raiders (6-16, 4-11 EWC) trailed 10-5 going into the seventh, where they scored the six times on just two hits, one error, three walks, a wild pitch, two hit-by-pitches and fielder’s choice.
Jordan Meyer singled in Terren Driscoll to clinch the victory.
Meyer had two hits, Driscoll knocked in two runs, and Cole Voelker, Tanner Woepse, Nick Walsh and Carter Voelker each scored twice.
Cameron Debroux pitched a scoreless top of the seventh to get the win for Kiel.
James Hughes went 2-for-3 with four RBI for Campbellsport (7-11, 6-9).
Lutheran/Kohler 12, Random Lake 3
Calvin Stefanczyk went the distance, scattering five hits with five strikeouts as the Crusaders defeated the Rams at Lutheran.
Stefanczyk also had two hits, with a double and RBI. Charlie Tobin had two hits, with a double and two RBI, and Paul Vicente and Phil Case each had two hits in the win.
Lutheran broke open a close game with a seven-run sixth inning.
Reed Anklam took the loss for Random, and also led his team with two hits.
Kewaskum 7, Kiel 6
Trailing 7-3, the Kiel baseball team rallied in the bottom of the seventh but fell 7-6 to visiting Kewaskum on Thursday night.
In the bottom of the seventh, Nathan Pieper belted a three-run homer for Kiel to cut 7-6.
With the tying run on second base and the winning run on first, the Raiders’ Carter Voelker hit a sinking liner to left field that was caught by diving Kewaskum left fielder Billie Lehman to end the game.
Two Rivers 17, New Holstein 4 (6)
Two Rivers (5-11, 4-11 EWC) scored 12 runs over the final three innings to hand New Holstein (3-11, 3-9 EWC) the home loss.
Hunter Petrie took the loss in four innings of work while Devon Olm pitched two innings of relief.
New Holstein had five hits and five errors in the game as Michael Voelker was 2-for-4 with an RBI and one run and Travis Boehnlein was 2-for-3 with an RBI. Also for the Huskies, Jason Brandt had two runs, Devon Olm was 1-for-3 with an RBI and Andrew Casper had one run.
