Manitowoc Lutheran’s Kyle Staudt kept host Reedsville in check on Saturday, earning a complete-game victory as the Lancer baseball team won 7-1.

Staudt scattered six hits over seven innings while striking out seven and walking none.

Staudt’s only blemish came in the bottom of the fourth when the Panthers scored their lone run on an RBI single by Bryce Hassemer, who was 1-for-3 at the plate to lead Reedsville.

Cody Schamburek took the loss for the Panthers, lasting four innings and allowing six runs — three earned — on nine hits and one walk with four strikeouts.

Ryan LeClair (4-for-5), Ethan Hillmer (3-for-4) and Marshall Stanelle (2-for-5) each had multiple hits to pace the Lancers, with LeClair scoring three runs and Stanelle driving in two and Hillmer one.

Valders 11-5, St. Mary Central 2-6

Host Valders split the doubleheader with St. Mary Central, taking Game 1 11-2 before dropping Game 2 6-5.

Luke Schuh earned the complete-game win in Game 1, limiting St. Mary to one earned run on six hits and two walks while striking out six.

Ben Behnke (2-for-3) had three RBI to pace the Vikings while Ryan Jirschsele (3-for-4) and Cade Fochs (1-for-4) each drove in a pair.

In Game 2, Ryan Valleskey took the loss, going 51/3 innings and giving up six runs — three earned — on three hits while striking out one.

Fochs (2-for-4) had two RBI and a triple and Behnke (1-for-4) added a double for the Vikings.
