The Two Rivers baseball team fell to visiting Kewaskum 9-7 on Thursday as Brett Kasper started for the Raiders but got the no-decision.

Kasper lasted five innings, allowing three earned runs on five hits with seven strikeouts and six walks before Mitch Taylor came in and pitched 23 innings of relief to take the loss. Taylor allowed six earned runs on three hits with two walks and one strikeout.

Nic Schroeder paced Two Rivers offensively, going 2-for-4 with three RBI while teammate Cameron Greene (2-for-4) drove in a run of is own.

Two Rivers (1-3) hosts New Holstein today.

Late Wednesday Plymouth 10-15, Two Rivers 0-1

The Raiders lost both games of a doubleheader at Plymouth, falling in Game 1 10-0 in six innings and 15-1 in five innings in Game 2.

Brock Gospodarek took the loss in Game 1, allowing seven runs — four earned — on seven hits and four walks with one strikeout in four innings.

Brett Kasper, Nic Schroeder and Mitch Taylor each had one hit for the Raiders.

Brett Linzmeier started and pitched 123 innings for the loss in Game 2, allowing eight runs on five hits and two walks.

Cameron Greene was 2-for-3 to lead Two Rivers while Kasper was 1-for-3.
