The No. 6 seeded Manitowoc Lincoln boys basketball team fell on Saturday to host No. 3 Bay Port in the WIAA Boys State Basketball Tournament regional semifinal 65-53.

With the Pirates leading 13-4, the Ships called a timeout to try and regroup and they responded as Hoffman drained a 3-pointer. Hoffman hit his second 3 of the quarter as the Ships and Hoffman finished the quarter on an 8-0 run to trail 13-12 after one quarter.

Matt Fischer drained a 3 to get Lincoln within 41-33 after a timeout by Lincoln but the Pirates responded with a 3-pointer of their own on the very next possession.
Bay Port hit another 3 just before the buzzer to take a 50-37 lead entering heading into the fourth quarter.
