Nick Stelzer had 18 points on six 3-pointers as the Roncalli boys basketball team defeated host Reedsville 75-46 on Tuesday night.
The Jets never trailed as Stelzer opened the game with a 3-pointer and Nate Lassila followed moments later with a 3-pointer of his own to give Roncalli an early 6-0 lead.
With Roncalli leading 23-13 after the first quarter and 40-22 at halftime, Stelzer finished the first half by making a 3-pointer, giving him his six in two quarters for all his points.
Lassila, who sat out most of the first half with foul trouble, had a 13-point third quarter as Roncalli led 62-34 at the end of the frame.
He finished with 18 points while teammates Sam Scheer and Isaiah Bessert added nine points.
For Reedsville, Zach Laabs had 14 points, Brock Gilsdorf had 10 points and Bryce Wenzel had nine points, all in the first half.
The Jets’ largest lead of the night was 30 points at 72-42 with less than four minutes left in the game.
Roncalli finished with 14 3-pointers but was just 10-of-22 at the free-throw line.
Reedsville was 7-of-12 from the free-throw line and had 17 turnovers.
The game was the final regular-season road contest for Roncalli (15-4, 12-3 Olympian Conference), which will host St. Mary Central (3-16, 1-14 OC) on Friday.
Reedsville (6-13, 4-11 OC) will be at Mishicot (0-19, 0-15 OC) on Friday.
