The Two Rivers and Kiel boys golf teams competed in a pair of Eastern Wisconsin Conference Mini-Meets at Badger Creek Golf Club in New Holstein on Tuesday, with Two Rivers finishing fifth in the first meet and fourth in the second while Kiel was seventh and sixth, respectively.
Two Rivers finished Meet 1 with a total score of 187, led by Cory Johnson and Dayne Rusch who each had an 8-over 44, which tied them individually for 13th. Kiel ended with 192 with Nate Voiteck as its top individual; he tied for 18th with a 9-over 45.
Plymouth’s Tyler Siech earned medalist honors with an even 36 while Sheboygan Falls won as a team with its 156.
In the second meet, Two Rivers recorded a 181 with Rusch tying for eighth with a 7-over 43. Kiel’s Jordan Meyer also tied for eighth with a 7-over 43 as Kiel had 190 as a team.
Sheboygan Falls again won, this time with a 157, with its Matt Bachmann earning medalist honors with an even 36.
