Prep boys swimming: Lincoln swimmers net FRCC honors

Having gone undefeated in its dual meets to complete a record of 9-0, the Manitowoc Lincoln boys swim team receieved recognition this week from the Fox River Classic Conference for several of its members.

The team additionally won the FRCC Meet, the Manitowoc Swim Invitational and the Sheboygan North Raider Relays.

Individuals receiving All-FRCC first team recognition included Kyle Heinzen (200 medley relay and 200 freestyle relay), John Cress (200 medley relay and 200 freestyle relay), Riley Neuser (200 freestyle relay and 200 freestyle), Dylan Neuser (200 medley relay), Damian Klemish (200 freestyle relay) and Aaron Hochkammer (200 medley relay, 200 individual medley and 100 backstroke).

Second team honors were also given to Riley Neuser (400 freestyle relay), Dylan Neuser (400 freestyle relay), Hochkammer (400 freestyle relay) and Klemish (400 freestyle relay).

Honorable mentions were given to Heinzen (100 freestyle and 100 backstroke), Riley Neuser (100 backstroke), Jordan Olson (500 freestyle) and Klemish (200 individual medley).

The team’s head coach, Mike Zupek, was also selected as the FRCC Coach of the Year.
