Prep boys tennis: Jets sweep Chilton 7-0

The Roncalli boys tennis team swept visiting Chilton on Wednesday 7-0, setting up a showdown this Saturday between the Jets, Plymouth and Kohler for the Eastern Wisconsin Conference title which Roncalli has won the last four and six of the last eight seasons.

Brett Giesen got the Jets off to a great start, winning 6-0, 6-0 at No. 1 singles, something Jackie Zhang and partner Joe Brotz matched at No. 3 doubles.

FRCC Tier Play

The Ships will have four first-place finalists on the second day of tier play after No. 3 singles and Nos. 1-3 doubles all were unbeaten on day one on Wednesday.

Ethan Just won both his matches at No. 3 singles while teammates Jake Rohrer-Nick Schroder, Jonah Mrozinsky-Parker Wood and Derek Rohrer-Ryan Specht all did the same at Nos. 1-3 doubles, respectively.
