The Manitowoc Lincoln boys tennis team improved to 3-0 in the Fox River Classic Conference with a 6-1 victory over Green Bay East at home on Tuesday.

In the Ships’ six victories, the team combined to drop just eight total games, highlighted by a 6-0, 6-0 win by Jake Rohrer and Nick Schroeder at No. 1 doubles.

Mike Olson (No. 2), Ethan Just (No. 3) and Jim Lee (No. 4) won easily in singles for Lincoln. Top singles player David Wronkoswki fell to an exchange student from Bolivia.

Roncalli 6, Howards Grove 1

The Jets swept the doubles competition to pick up the win at home.

Brett Giesen didn’t drop a game in his victory at No. 1 singles for Roncalli. Also pitching a 6-0, 6-0 shutout was the Jets’ No. 3 doubles squad of Jackie Zhang and Joe Brotz.

The Raiders’ three doubles teams combined to completely shut out its Indians counterparts at TR.

No Two Rivers singles players lost a set either in the convincing win.

The tandems of Brian Ruedinger/Brice Ruedinger (No. 1), Brock Gospodarek/Cameron Greene No. 2) and Brett Kasper/Brett Linzmeier (No. 3) all won in 6-0, 6-0 fashion.
