All four divisions had repeat winners in the competitive cheer state championships at the DeltaPlex in Grand Rapids.
Southgate Anderson won its second straight Division 1 title on Friday night, and it was two in a row for Richmond tonight in Division 3.
Richmond won with a score of 768.64 to 765.84 for runner-up Pontiac Notre Dame Prep. Grosse Ile was third at 753.90, followed by Comstock Park (752.02), Ovid-Elsie (737.36), Paw Paw (723.12), Otsego (718.80) and Lake Odessa Lakewood (708.58).
In Divisions 2 and 4 today, the same teams finished 1-2 for the third straight time.
Gibraltar Carlson won the Div. 2 title with a score of 782.48, and Dearborn Divine Child was runner-up at 772.92. Carlson has won five Division 2 titles overall.
Mt. Pleasant was third at 762.08, followed by Allen Park (762.02), DeWitt (749.02), Grand Rapids Christian (745.76), St. Joseph (736.22) and Wyandotte Roosevelt (727.96).
In Div. 4, Michigan Center got its own three-peat, topping Pewamo-Westphalia, 731.26-727.52. Michigan Center or Pewamo-Westphalia has won every division title since 2008.
Hudson was third at 723.70, followed by Merrill (719.38), Munising (717.74), Hart (712.38), Iron Mountain (706.44) and Manistique (698.22).
