Reedsville scored the first 13 points of the game as they held off Hilbert 13-7, in an Olympian Packerland-Small Conference contest Friday night at Hilbert.
With the win, the Panthers improved to 5-0 overall and 3-0 in the OP-small.
Tyler Schuh hauled in a pass from Brock Gilsdorf for a 19-yard score, making it 7-0 in favor of Reedsville in the early going.
That would be the last of the scoring until Gilsdorf scrambled into the endzone from three yards out to extend the Panthers’ advantage to 13.
Adam Mader broke off a 60-yard run for Hilbert’s only touchdown of the night.
Gilsdorf ended the night with 25 rushes for 102 yards. He was also 5-of-18 passing for 94 yards.
