GREENVILLE — McKean quarterback Darius Jones rushed for 175 yards to lead the Highlanders to a 20-0 victory over Tatnall in a nonconference game on Friday afternoon.The Highlanders broke open a scoreless game with three second-half touchdowns. Jamarr Henry scored on an 8-yard run in the third quarter to put McKean on the scoreboard. Jabre’e Purnell added a 4-yard and Louis Hall scored on a 26-yard run as the Highlanders pulled away in the final quarter.McKean totaled 350 yards on the ground. The Highlander defense did its part by forcing three turnovers.

WILMINGTON — Chaz Sydnor scored three touchdowns while Marvell Watts rushed for 100 yards and a touchdown to lead Howard to a nonconference victory over Charter of Wilmington at Baynard Stadium on Friday night.Sydnor caught touchdown passes of 36 and 17 yards from quarterback Damon Johniken and also returned a fumble 60 yards for a touchdown. Howard forced five turnovers in all, making four interceptions.Jeray Smith had two interceptions and returned one of them 72 yards for Howard’s final touchdown in the fourth quarter. He also chalked up five tackles.Raekwon Wells ran for 71 yards including a 46-yard touchdown jaunt that got Howard’s scoring started in the first quarter.

MILLTOWN — Tyler Hill rushed 20 times for 205 yards and three touchdowns as Delaware Military downed Dickinson in a nonconference game Friday night.Hill scored on rushes of 2, 29 and 51 yards as the Seahawks scored 40 unanswered points after spotting the Rams a 6-0 first-quarter lead.Aidan Seefried scored on an 11-yard run, and David Rhodes kicked 25-yard field goal for DMA.Freshman quarterback Jacob Hudson, making his first varsity start, finished off the Seahawk scoring with a 1-yard run in the fourth quarter.
