Two Rivers’ Scott Skornicka and Bobby Geiger were each named to the All-East Central Region team by the Wisconsin Football Coaches Association.
Skornicka, a senior, earned accolades as both a running back as well as an inside linebacker. He rushed for 1,020 yards and 10 touchdowns during the 2013 campaign. He also caught 43 passes for 389 yards and three scores.
Just a season ago, Skornicka was playing on the offensive line.
Defensively, Skornicka recorded 130 tackles, two sacks, two forced fumbles and an interception.
Geiger received his nod as a tight end. In eight games, he hauled in 42 receptions for a team-high 684 yards.
He was also one of 25 semifinalists for the Al Toon Award, an honor given to the top senior receiver in the state by WisSports.net.
“He was our go-to receiver on our team,” Two Rivers head coach Kevin Shillcox said. “But he did more than catch passes. He blocked for us in our screen game and in our ground game.”
