Prep girls basketball: All-EWC teams announced

When the All-Eastern Wisconsin Conference basketball teams were announced on Monday, Kiel’s Brooke Goehring and Two Rivers’ Mackenzie Walesh were named First-Team All-EWC.

Walesh, a unanimous selection as a junior, led the EWC in scoring with 14-points per game while finishing third in rebound with just over eight a game according to WisSports.com. Goehring, meanwhile, was sixth in the conference in scoring (11.3 ppg) and fifth in rebounds (7.6 rpg).

Another Walesh, Alexi, was named to the second-team for Two Rivers while Kiel added a pair of honorable mentions in Alexis Lucas and Cassie Schweitzer.
