Tied 12-12 after the first quarter, the Manitowoc Lincoln girls basketball team outscored Green Bay Preble 47-36 the rest of the way in a 59-48 home win on Friday night.

Lincoln (12-4, 7-4 Fox River Classic Conference) made a pair of 3-pointers to Preble’s (5-11, 4-7 FRCC) one while the Ships were also 17-of-27 from the free-throw line to the Hornets’ 13-of-19 performance.

Kali Hackmann led Lincoln with a game-high 22 points, including the team’s two 3-pointers, while teammate Shawny Gabriel added 10 points.

Also for the Ships, Michaela Jagemann had nine points and Alyssa Fischer had eight.

Host Two Rivers raced out to a 13-4 lead at the end of the first quarter and never looked back in the win.

The Raiders held New Holstein to four points in each of the first two quarters.

Two Rivers shot 9-of-17 from the free-throw line and made three 3-pointers while New Holstein was 3-of-4 from the free-throw line and made a pair of 3-pointers.

Two Rivers was led by Mackenzie Walesh who had a game-high 16 points while teammate Alexi Walesh added 11 points.

Down 22-19, Kiel was outscored by 10 points in the third quarter and couldn’t recover in the road loss.

Brooke Goehring led Kiel with 15 points, and Alexis Lucas and Corrina Beaumont each added eight.

Kiel had one 3-pointer and was 13-of-15 from the free-throw line while Falls had three 3’s and was 10-of-13 from the free-throw line.
