The Reedsville girls basketball team raced out to a 21-8 lead after the first quarter and led 40-18 at halftime en route to a 53-40 home win on Thursday night.

The Panthers were led by Shelby Otto who had a game-high 21 points while teammates Riley Grimm and Kayla Sheahan had 10 points each.

Sheahan had both of Reedsville’s 3-pointers as the Panthers were 7-of-8 from the free-throw line to Brillion’s 14-of-16 performance. Brillion also had two 3-pointers in the game.

With the win and Wrightstown’s Thursday-night loss, the Panthers have sole posession of the No. 1 spot in the Olympain Conference standings.

Brooke Luckow had a game-high 16 points with three of Mishicot’s four 3-pointers in the home win.

Also for Mishicot, Morgan Melichar had nine points and Gina Finnel added six.

The Indians led most of the way — leading 7-5 after the first quarter and 21-16 at halftime — before outscoring Chilton 12-5 in the third quarter to lead 33-21 entering the final frame.

Chilton — which had six 3-pointers and one player in double figures in scoring — was 7-of-12 on free throws while Mishicot was 8-of-15.

Trailing 42-39 entering the fourth quarter, host Lutheran outscored Wrightstown 17-9 in the final frame for the win.

Arianna Neumeyer had 20 points and four of the Lancers’ six 3-pointers while teammate MacKayla Menges has 15 points.

Wrightstown had seven 3-pointers in the game and shot 12-of-14 from the free-throw line while Lutheran was 10-of-15 from the free-throw line.

Down 35-29 entering the fourth quarter, Valders outscored St. Mary Central 20-5 in the final frame to earn the home win.

Danelle Buck and Conner Grall led the Vikings with 15 points each as Buck had one of Valders’ three 3-pointers while Grall had the other 3-pointer.

Valders was 8-of-14 from the free-throw line while St. Mary Central was 7-of-15 and made one 3-pointer.

After holding Hilbert to two points in the third quarter to take a 24-22 lead, Roncalli was outscored 26-19 in the final frame of the home loss.

Rachel Moczynski had a team-high 15 points to lead Roncalli. Also for the Jets, Alex Cliff had 13 points and Catherine Taddy added eight points with two of their three 3-pointers.

Roncalli was 6-of-13 on free throws while Hilbert went 19-of-36 and had one 3-pointers.
