Trailing 17-10 at the end of the first quarter, the Two Rivers girls basketball team outscored host Kiel 20-7 in the second quarter and held on for a 55-50 win on Tuesday night.
Two Rivers, which did not make a 3-pointer in the game, was led by Mackenzie Walesh who had a game-high 25 points and Alexi Walesh who added 14 points.
For Kiel, Brooke Goehring had 14 points and a 3-pointer, Cassie Schweitzer had 10 points and Alexis Lucas had nine points. Kiel had three 3-pointers in the game.
Two Rivers shot 13-of-16 from the free-throw line while Kiel was 13-of-20.

Eleven Lutheran players scored in the home win as the Lancers outscored Cedar Grove-Belgium 22-2 in the second quarter.
MacKayla Menges led Lutheran with 13 points and both of the Lancers’ 3-pointers.
Cedar Grove-Belgium had four 3-pointers in the game but shot 3-of-10 from the free-throw line while Lutheran was 13-of-25.
