By

Kiel

Coach: Mike Pritchard, fifth year

Last year: 9-8-3, 6-8 Eastern Wisconsin Conference (fifth)

Returning letter winners: Niki Meunier, sr.; Hannah Meyer, sr.; Morgan Rabe, sr.; Mariah Konen, jr,; Courtney Retlich, jr.; Lindsey Riehn, jr.; Jenna Fale, so.; Ashley Burris, so.; Emily Landwehr, jr.; Micayla Fritsch, so.; Kayla Klauck, jr.

Outlook: The Raiders biggest weaknesses figure to be experience at goalkeeper behind Meyer, an honorable mention All-EWC selection last season. Kiel also returns second-team selection Meunier. Pritchard feels his team can compete for the middle of the pack in the EWC and will have a chance to make a postseason run.

Roncalli

Coach: Guido Lenaerts, 11th year

Last year: 3-19-1, 2-12-1 Packerland Conference

Returning letter winners: Abbygail Bouril, jr.; Janince Hamacheck, sr.; Madeline Dunn, sr.

Outlook: The Jets will feature nine freshman who Lenaerts thinks will move Roncalli in a completely different direction while his returning letter winners show the new-comers the ropes. Nine seniors depart from last season which gives Lenaerts the feeling of a whole different team.

Valders

Coach: Brian Brandl, sixth year

Last year: 6-12, 4-10 PC (sixth)

Returning letter winners: Sydney Gutman, so.; Kelly Morgan, so.; Amanda Miller, so.; Tessa Evenson, so.; Angela Brandl, jr.; Samantha Reisterer, jr.; Alena Braun, jr.; Paige Neumeyer, sr.; Lauren Brandl, sr.; Michaela Meidl, sr.

Outlook: The Vikings will be playing a 4-5-1 formation with four defenders, five midfielders and one striker up top. Brandl is excited to have his central midfielders and strikers back from a season ago forming the core of his team, led by first-team All-PC selection Angela Brandl. His major concern is the weather forcing Valders to play three or four games a week towards the end of the season to make up from a snow-hampered schedule in beginning of the campaign.
