The Roncalli girls tennis team got wins from Nos. 1-2 and 4 singles en route to a narrow 4-3 victory over visiting Plymouth on Tuesday.

Tallie Piaskowski (No. 1) was victorious 6-2, 6-1 while teammates Chloe Kitzerow (No. 2) and Maya Ledvina (No. 4) won 6-1, 6-0 and 5-7, 6-3, 6-2, respectively.

The Jets (7-2, 5-0 Eastern Wisconsin Conference) also got a win from Julia Platteter and Abby Welnetz in No. 2 doubles to provide the decisive margin as they prevailed 6-2, 6-3.

Roncalli next hosts the Roncalli quad on Saturday.

The Ships breezed past the host Redwings, sweeping all seven matches including a pair by 6-0, 6-0 margins.

Lincoln’s Bailey Budnik defeated Alisha Ziegler at No. 1 singles 6-0, 6-0 and the No. 2 doubles duo of Justine Jacobs and Hannah Ramminger also did the same to Mimi Pulido and Sam Roelse of South.

Lincoln hosts Sheboygan North on Thursday.

The visiting Raiders got wins from No. 3 singles and No. 1 doubles in the losing effort.

Gabby Weier defeated Samantha Bilquien 6-3, 6-2 at No. 3 singles while the Raiders No. 1 duo of Ashley Kakuk and Gabby Yokiel prevailed 6-0, 6-2 over Falls’ Elodie Huston and Emily Schaefers.

Two Rivers takes on host Kewaskum on Thursday.
