The Manitowoc Lincoln girls tennis team captured the consolation championship with two wins on the second day of the Green Bay Southwest Invitational.
The Ships began the day with a 5-2 win over Plymouth.
Bailey Budnik paced the Ships, defeating Elizabeth Raeder 6-2, 6-1 at No. 1 singles.
Lincoln claimed all three doubles matches including Justine Jacobs and Hannah Ramminger’s 6-0, 6-0 win over Sierra McNeil and Paige Stoney.
With the win, Lincoln advanced to face De Pere in the consolation finals where they edged the Redbirds 4-3.
Budnik supplied Lincoln’s lone win in singles, while all three doubles tandems emerged victorious.

Manitowoc Lincoln split its matches on the opening day of the Green Bay Southwest Invitational.
The Ships fell to Hudson 4-3 in the opening match.
Bailey Budnik dropped Kelsie Hines by a count of 6-2, 6-0 to account for the Ships lone win in singles.
Justine Jacobs and Hannah Ramminger took care of business at No.2 doubles with a 4-6, 6-1, 10-4 win over Becca Tangen and Kali Denis.
Lincoln bounced back by topping Wausau West 5-2 in its second match of the day.
The Ships and Warriors split the singles matches. Lincoln received wins from Budnik and Paige Hagen.
Manitowoc took all three doubles matches.
