The Manitowoc Lincoln girls tennis team picked up a 6-1 win over Green Bay Preble in the second round of Fox River Classic Conference tier play Thursday afternoon at Lincoln Park.

Three of Lincoln’s four singles players emerged victorious, including Bailey Budnik who downed Preble’s Rachel Skokeski 6-0, 6-0.

All three of the Ships’ doubles teams earned wins on the day.

Justine Jacobs and Hannah Ramminger won their No. 2 doubles match 6-0, 6-1.

The win places Lincoln seventh in the conference heading into the FRCC tournament which begins Wednesday in Green Bay.

Plymouth 7, Kiel 0

The Raiders were swept by the host Panthers in an Eastern Wisconsin Conference affair.

Kiel’s Lydia Blatz dropped her match to Shyenne Genette, 6-1, 6-1, at No. 4 singles.
