SAUK RAPIDS – River Lakes scored a single goal in each period in a 3-2 Central Lakes Conference win over Sauk Rapids Thursday night at Sports Arena East.

Ethan Parsons, Bryce Savage and Grant Thompson scored the goals for the Stars.

Thompson scored 5:02 into the third period. Travis Kothenbeutel scored two goals for the Storm.

Chris Skluzacek finished with 25 saves for River Lakes and Justin Thorson had 13 for the Storm.

Sartell 3, Willmar 1

WILLMAR – Tyler Minkel scored a goal and an assist as Sartell pulled out a CLC win at Willmar.

Andrew Lindmeier gave the Sabres the lead for good with 4:02 left in the second period and Minkel put the game away late in the third.

Elliott Brookins finished with 21 saves for Sartell.

St. Cloud Apollo 7,
Fergus Falls 3

FERGUS FALLS – Jason Omann and Jared Christen had two goals and three assists each to lead St. Cloud Apollo past Fergus Falls in a CLC game.

Paul Kenney added two goals and two assists and Nick Althaus recorded 17 saves for Apollo (5-3 CLC, 9-6 overall).

The Eagles are 6-0 in the section and took a 4-0 lead in the second period.

ALEXANDRIA 5,
ST. CLOUD TECH 4

ALEXANDRIA – Sophomore forward Ryan Marciniak scored on a third period power play to lift Alexandria past St. Cloud Tech in match between CLC foes.

It was the first conference loss for the Tigers (7-1 CLC, 9-4).

Jacob Peterson, Justin Oberg, Jake Samuelson and Tanner Skaja all scored goals for St. Cloud Tech in the loss.

Austin Althaus finished with 18 saves for Tech while Alexandria’s Ben Allen tallied 23 saves for the Cardinals.

Fergus Falls 2,
St. Cloud 1 (OT)

Stephanie Kolstad’s goal 6:34 into overtime lifted Fergus Falls to a Central Lakes Conference win over St. Cloud at the Municpal Athletic Complex.

Cecilia Strong gave the Icebreakers a 1-0 lead on the power play late in the first period. Calli Hunter finished with 24 saves for St. Cloud.

Moorhead 6,
Brainerd/Little Falls 0

BRAINERD – Kristin Drechsel scored two goals with one assist to help Moorhead bury Brainerd/Little Falls in nonconference game.

Natalie Berens finished with 20 saves and Sara Wennerstrand came up with five saves in relief for the Flying Warriors.

MAPLE GROVE 4,
SARTELL/SAUK RAPIDS 0

MAPLE GROVE – Maddie Woo notched a goal and an assist as Maple Grove muzzled the Stormin’ Sabres in a nonconference game.

The Crimson (9-6-2) tallied 36 shots on goal. Freshman Clare Minnerath finished with 32 saves for Sartell/Sauk Rapids (7-0-1, 10-5-2).

St. Benedict 2,
Concordia (Wis.) 1

Alli O’Brien finished with two goals in St. Benedict’s nonconference victory against Concordia (Wis.) at the Municipal Athletic Complex.

O’Brien scored her second goal 5:43 into the third period to make it 2-0. Concordia scored with 5:39 left in the game, but the Blazers held on.

St. Benedict used three goaltenders starting with Jenna Traut, who had seven saves. Dory Johnson had 12 saves in the second period and Kaitlyn Rolando had nine saves in the third.

The Blazers (4-3-3) outshot Concordia 30-29.
