Wapahani picked up a 6-1 win against Daleville. Ryan Estep scored twice and had a steal for the Raiders.

Central lost a 1-0 game to Richmond. Jordan Poore struck out 12 in a losing effort, and the only run he allowed was unearned.

Randolph Southern topped Winchester 12-3 in the opening round of the Randolph County Tournament. The Rebels’ Jake Wissel hit two doubles and struck out 10 on the way to the win. Austin Myers had two hits, a run and a steal for the Falcons.

Yorktown lost to Shelbyville 2-0. Jacob Preston pitched six innings of two-run ball for the host Tigers (11-4). Teammate Austin Stout hit a double.

Blackford beat Oak Hill 3-1 Tuesday.

New Castled scored seven runs in the second Tuesday and edged Anderson 9-8. Trey Ball hit a two-run home run in the win.


Yorktown beat Blackford 10-4. Katy Johnson and Amanda Laughlin each contributed three hits and an RBI for the visiting Tigers (11-3). Yorktown pitcher Morgan Masters pitched four innings of one-run ball and improved her record to 3-0 on the season.

Monroe Central beat Southside 5-0. Haley Fields struck out 12 in tossing a four-hit shutout. Shelby Cumings collected two of the four Southside hits.

Rachel Krathwohl tossed a no-hitter as Shenandoah topped Greenfield-Central 3-0. Krathwohl walked one and struck out seven in her complete-game performance, while teammate Ellie Rider hit a double, scored a run and drove in another.

Blackford lost Tuesday to Eastbrook 9-1.

New Castle scored a run in the bottom of the ninth Tuesday to pull out a win against Anderson. Harley Walls had three hits, including a double and a triple, for the Trojans.

Shenandoah fell 3-1 to Centerville on Tuesday. Taylor Vacarro had a triple and run for the Raiders.


Monroe Central lost to Richmond by 19 strokes, 162-181, at Highland Lake. Chase Bly carded a 43 for the best Monroe Central score.

Yorktown topped Wapahani 161-191. The Tigers’ Palmer Hill was medalists after shooting a 35.


Delta lost to Marion 3-2. The Delta No. 1 doubles tandem of Natalie Alexander and Marissa Morris rallied from a 5-0 deficit in the first set to win their match 7-6, 6-0. Delta sophomore Maggie Thompson improved her record this season to a perfect 12-0 with a win at No. 3 singles.

Southside beat Blue River 3-2. The Rebels rallied to win each of the doubles matches in three sets. Jadelyn Reed and Elizabeth Allison won 2-6, 6-4, 6-1 at No. 1 doubles. The No. 2 doubles pairing of Kacie Johnson and Becky Mann won 4-6, 6-3, 6-4.

Central blanked Anderson 5-0 in a North Central Conference match. The Bearcats won all five matches in straight sets. Ada Kirby set the tone at No. 1 singles with a 6-0, 6-2 victory.

Yorktown took a 4-1 victory against New Castle, earning every win in straight sets. The Tigers’ Blair Smith won at No. 2 singles 6-0, 6-0.

Burris blanked Eastern Hancock 5-0. Sarah Komanapalli (No. 1), Emily Decker (No. 2) and Jackie Shao (No. 3) each won their singles matches in straight sets for the Owls (4-1).

Winchester lost to Northeastern 5-0. Christina Casperson (No. 3 singles) won the only set for the Falcons.
