Union built a 20-point lead by halftime and outscored Tri by at least 10 in every quarter in a blowout 85-43 win. Spencer Shore scored 22 to lead six Rockets with at least seven points, with Nick Glaser adding 12 points and Michael Jackson scoring 11.
Burris used lockdown defense to post a 30-20 Mid-Eastern Conference victory against Daleville. Jia Jones led the Owls with 12 points. Brandi Granger scored 14 points in the loss, and Hanna Hochstetler accounted for the other six for Daleville (0-6, 0-4 MEC).
Yorktown finished fourth at the Homestead Invitational with 646½ points. Isaiah Huisman was Yorktown’s top finisher in four events.
Yorktown finished third at the Homestead Invitational with 979 points, behind Chesterton and Homestead. Katie Keller finished sixth in the 100 backstroke with a time of 1:03.46.
Winchester posted a 2-3 record and Central finished 1-4 at the Pendleton Heights Super Six. Three Golden Falcons in Grant Gough (182), Dustyn Hangen (195) and Jacob Sofronko (220) each won their respective weight classes. Darrius Connell (heavyweight) and Nathan Hershberger (120) each won their respective weight classes for the Bearcats.
Delta went 4-0 at the Delta Duals bringing home the trophy as team champs. Jacob Gray (152 pounds), Brock House (120), Noah Richardson (106), all went 4-0 for the Eagles.
