GIRLS BASKETBALL

Blackford allowed only 13 points in the final three quarters of a 47-23 win against Blue River. Lauren Godfrey led the Bruins (2-3) with 13 points and Maggie Weeks-Foy added 11.

Delta defeated Winchester 40-33. Micaya Richardson had 14 points, nine steals and nine rebounds for the Eagles, and Erika Pursley added 10 points and eight steals. Delaney Miller led the Golden Falcons with 18 points and 11 rebounds.

Randolph Southern pitched a shutout in the first half and topped Daleville 51-8. Kristen Zimmers had two points and nine rebounds in the loss.

WRESTLING

Wes-Del beat Blackford 48-28. Brady Swartz, Harrison Jernigan, Robert Wilburn, Donny Green and Storm Adney picked up wins for the Bruins.

BOYS BASKETBALL

Yorktown’s Riley Miller was selected the Hoosier Heritage Conference co-player of the week.
