Randolph Southern had five players finish in double figures, led by 16 from Maddi Kramer and 14 by Shelbie Hathaway in a 75-46 victory against Northeastern. Kara Snyder and Morgan Acton each scored 12 and Logan Saylor added 10.


Fifteen Cowan High School student-athletes made Academic All-Conference for the fall season. This list was Dylan Ayers, Calvin Furniss, Will Wright, Jacob Wann, Carli Skinner, Kailyn Jones, Lizzie Davis, Morgan Jones, Gabrielle Harrington, Abigail Huff, Diana Campbell, Kelsey Harrington, Kristina Flowers, Allie Curtis, Kellsie Mace.


In conjunction with the Shenandoah student leaders’ food project, fans attending Saturday’s 11 a.m. scrimmage with Hagerstown are encouraged to bring nonperishable food items to the game in lieu of admission. All other fans will be charged $3 for admission and that money will also be used to help stock the food pantries in the Shenandoah Community.

Central will host the “Bearcat Basketball Extravaganza” Saturday beginning at 8:45 a.m. in the Muncie Fieldhouse. Teams from second grade up will scrimmage, with the varsity team scrimmaging Homestead at 11 a.m. Beginning at 10 a.m., admission will be $3.00 (excluding pre-school).
